⚡ Monoprice Apple Certified Lightning Charge: Powerful Industrial Electrical Solution Review

I bought this expensive cable for a specific purpose where I needed a ribbon cable. It looked beautiful. But. After 6 weeks of little use, the telephone code plug is defective. By light use I mean about 10 inserts into the phone in 6 weeks. The gold color has come loose from the pins in the connector and now it won't charge the phone at all. Very disappointed!

I have had iPhones for 10 years and now there are six in my family. Over the years I have used Monoprice Select, Anker, Apple and many other brands. These are the best so far. They're tough, durable, have decent strain relief, and last longer than others. I understand that Anker and Monoprice offer a lifetime warranty on my old cables. But the best guarantees, in my opinion, are the ones you don't have to call for.

I needed a cable to fully charge the phone in the car. The wire had to be bent a bit at the base of the Lightning connector, but the material used in this cable wasn't made for such a small task. It's a ribbon cable, I understand. Cable housing will be minimal with little insulation BUT there has been little to no use or abuse before this cable failed and intermittently charged on various USB ports.
