More difficult to install than traditional Keystone

How many companies have they tried to improve something that didn't need improvement and made it worse in the process. I've installed many keystone bushings with a conventional punch tool in the past and have never had a problem with them. I ordered one of these and now it takes a lot of time and effort to install. I'm following instructions which aren't provided, by the way you'll need to dig up a link from other Revain reviews or do a search. net for them - and the process is theoretically…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

didn't work for me. no option to rebuild

Firstly there are no instructions whether you run the wires on the swing door or on the slats themselves and then close the door to them. Since the color key is on the swing door, I decided to install the wires there. When I was done I closed the door with the wires attached to the blades and made sure it was attached nice and tight with the little black clip that came with it. After using the tester, 3 out of 8 colors did not work. Also, the extra wire was not cut. I was under the impression…

Pros
  • Great for me

  • No instructions

It takes patience, but it works!

I'm working with Rj45 connectors for the first time; There was no internet connection on the first try. I realized the problem was that 2 of the 8 cables were only halfway into the slots. I pulled them all out and this time I took them off instead of leaving the plastic cover/hinge attached. I would run the cable over the slot (not inside) until it exits the slot on the other side. Then I pushed the plastic tabs where they should go (most of the time they should be where the cable exits)…

Pros
  • I've always liked it
Cons
  • I won't say anything
