When installed with the appropriate housing, the sound quality is mediocre.

I installed these speakers in an insulated ceiling. To keep dirt from getting on the speaker cones, I also bought and installed matching enclosures. Accordingly, the sound quality is average. The speakers have a "hanging" sound that emphasizes the bass and makes the sound unbalanced. If you like heavy bass, these speakers could be perfect for you. However, if you want a more natural, more open sound, you should either avoid these speakers or install them without a housing at all. For…

I really expected a little more power and punch from this thing than it is. That's not bad, but there are other subs that hit a lot harder and harder than this one.

Installed in a large smart home.

So my integrator offered over $100,000 for speakers and the like. Why would I pay $750 for a speaker when I have 42 speakers at home? Put them in bathrooms and laundry rooms where only one will fit, and they will fit. good, only good for a lot less. Sure, $750 sounded better, but okay. How many? For bathroom.? Very important. Not sure how long they will last but for the price. 2 years is fine, maybe longer. The only problem was the thin plastic and the very stiff grille. I don't like the flange
