Real cables with 1 gigabit per second.

I ordered 4 cables in different colors and lengths to set up a home network system. IF all your other hardware like NAS, NICs on your computer and router support Gbps, they will do the job. Remember that while cable data transfer rates are measured in megabits per second, Mbps, data transfer from your hard drives is measured in megabytes per second, MB/s (capital B). There are 8 megabits in a megabyte. So when the data transfer happens I get around 90-100 MB/s which is 800 Mbit/s. If you can'tโ€ฆ

I'm an avid electronics fan. I've spent many years buying not only the latest gadgets/electronic devices, but also the cables that support those products. Over the years I've learned a few things about which brands give you the best bang for your buck. Anyone interested in gadgets like me can tell you that Monoprice offers the best value for money products. I would put Revain Basics second. When you buy a Monoprice product, you get quality at a much lower price than the competition. This 25โ€ฆ

Excellent value for money

I have gigabit service from Xfinity. We used the SB6190 DOCSIS 3.0 modem, for which Xfinity does not support gigabit speeds. You need a DOCSIS 3.1 modem, which costs about $150. We don't need full gigabit speeds for my family but because of the package we got it's cheaper to stick with it and take advantage of the reduced speeds. Well, according to Xfinity, and my previous tests have confirmed it, the SB6190 will only handle about 480 Mbps over DOCSIS 3.0. We've recently had some signal issuesโ€ฆ
