Monoprice Keystone Jack Panel Ports Review

Received this for a home renovation and was very disappointed. The only good thing I can say is that it actually fits in a 1U mounting space. I couldn't put 2 keystone jacks next to each other. Apparently you can only use their proprietary keystone connectors if you want to use all 24 ports, I had to arrange the rest first. And I'll probably get their keystone connectors as I'll be expanding later to use all 24 ports. Not a good buy to spend extra money and buy something else.

There seem to be two different versions of this product. I've been ordering them for many years. I've previously received an all-metal version with Monoprice lettering. See attached picture in rack. Last time I received the plastic version with no logo (see other picture). The box of the latter said Monoprice 7260, box and packaging are also different. I needed a solid 1U, 24-port patch panel to complete a small network rack. This panel was priced right and I've had good experiences with Monoprice products so far, so I decided to give it a try.
