Easy to carry, easy to install!

As I am currently working from home I need to install some ethernet lines in my upstairs bedrooms. It was easy to tie and easy to assemble.

Basic network device

The device was easy to install and the cable cores were clearly identified. I think it was a good deal for the money. The hardest part of the product was punching the wire, but the tool provided helped, but for a neater look use a hole punch with a cutter.

Easy to install Suitable for TV ceiling and wall mounts

It's not a stunning addition to a room but honestly it's such a well made and durable product - I give it five. The schemes are marked both on the leaflet and on the package itself. I just installed it without a punch tool using a tiny flat head screwdriver; probably not best practice, but it worked for me.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Sad packaging

Easy to use and reliable connection over time

I usually terminate my cables with standard R45 crimp connectors, but sometimes I'm pressed for time and need a reliable connection that I know will last. They're easy to use (if you have the right punch tool) and I haven't had to reconnect yet. Do yourself a favor and make a little "cheat sheet" to map out the wires on the connector, it will save you a lot of time and trouble.

Good quality. Good price

Needed high quality junction boxes for external termination (taps to my patch panel inside). I installed them in a waterproof box for cable access (e.g. cable usage). I wanted to connect the cable to a socket rather than a plug as it is a more secure connection and gives more options. I bought a couple of PoE cameras that come with connection cables so they work great just by plugging them in (not yet connected in the photo). I may need to connect something else in the future. I have a good…

Ideal if you don't need/need an integrated connector.

Pretty easy to install and use. I chose this because I didn't want to cut another hole in the wall to install a box and then an ethernet port, and I wanted to install it in a spot that would be covered by a shelf. Beautiful and made for quick and easy (and clean) installation on drywall as well as drywall. The result doesn't look too ugly, although I would like a slimmer design (but I guess that's when you're investing in an in-wall solution). lateral - for the cable entering the box; If you…
