My daughter recently moved into a townhouse and found that she needed a new smoke alarm. Thought of saving a trip by booking online. But so disappointing. The setup instructions are not clear. We tried a few times and finally gave up. Well, I'd rather head home to Home Depot to look for something more reliable.

I love the look of this item, smooth and clean, the only problem I have is the light that flashes at night. Sometimes it's a bit annoying, it has nothing to do with the operation, it just shows that it works. So if you don't mind flashing lights in the dark of night then this thing is for you :)

Trash. 2 out of 3 didn't work out of the box. Poorly written instructions in English, along with a disclaimer that shipping could damage the product, was my post-purchase warning. Get a famous brand and avoid this Chinese junk product. Update: 3 out of 3 have now failed in a month of ownership. Do you entrust your safety to this product? I do not think so.

The feature that shows the amount of carbon monoxide in the air is very valuable information. Three days after these alarms were installed in my house, they lit up like a Christmas tree and alarms went off. They actually save everyone's life in my house three days after they were installed! Thanks for a reliable product.

I wish I had read more reviews before buying. When I turned it on the timer started counting down and then it beeped and turned off so I assumed I was doing something wrong and postponed reading the instructions because I couldn't find where I put the leaflet. When I finally found it, I realized I hadn't done anything wrong, it was just defective, and that happened to others. Of course I was out of the returns window by then, so I basically threw my money in the trash and had to go to home…

The instructions say the green light should blink every 35 seconds, I don't have 2. When I contacted "support" they told me it wasn't a green one There was light and the instructions were not for it. You were wrong, there is definitely a green light you can see when you first turn it on. I contacted the seller who was amazing, they confirmed the light should flash green every 35 seconds and sent me a new one a few days later. It doesn't blink either.
