Fantastic offer! in Security & Safety

Looks absolutely great and worked really well in testing. The green intermittent LED that tells you it's working might be a bit bright when pointed at you in the bedroom, but that's the only thing I can think of. Fantastic offer.

Easy installation. Read the instructions on how to activate the sensor. You must hold the button for at least 5 seconds. Otherwise you will get a beep every 30 seconds. Luckily I don't have CO in my basement where it was installed so trust me it works.

Annoying frequent bright flashing light - not for bedrooms!

Does the job. However, if flashing lights bother you, stay away from the bedroom. It emits a very bright flashing light every 30 seconds. This should let you know it's working. I don't need to be reminded that the light emitted should often be much less bright.

Add batteries - instant continuous beep

Red Instructions. The base is screwed to the wall. Read the instructions. Added batteries as instructed. The "test" button was not pressed, the batteries are inserted. The noise started immediately and didn't stop. I repeated the instructions, the battery installation steps, but did it on the street - it squeaked and didn't stop. Pressed "test" waited a minute during which he continued to buzz. I don't throw it in the landfill, but I want to throw it away as much as possible.

Installation is easier than you think.

These items were smaller and easier to install than you might think. I bought (4) and put one in each of our bedrooms. The instructions specify a 5mm (3/16) diameter drill bit for plastic plugs. To be honest, they are so light you might not need plastic drywall caps. I bought another set and installed it from my mother in law and just screwed the screws right into the wall. One thing you have to get used to. These are LED strobe lights that flash approximately every 15 seconds. The first night…
