Good Products: Shock Absorber

This was perfect for my 1995 Suzuki Sidekick. The rear assembly is very simple, just need to loosen 3 nuts and jack up the rear arm with a spanner, maybe it took 15 minutes per side. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the lower bushing in the shock is smaller. much smaller compared to the original, so the car is a bit stiffer at the rear compared to its predecessor.

Pros
  • Shock Absorber
Cons
  • Operating Speed

They fit great and were very strong compared to the original.

They fit great and worked very hard compared to the original. Before I replaced them, the handling when hitting a big bump was intimidating, the rear seemed to lurch sideways like a skid. An SUV isn't known for the best handling, and I'd rather have a bit stiffer than the loss of control and protection that comes with using an SUV for its intended purpose with some off-road driving.

Pros
  • Shocks, Struts & Suspension
Cons
  • Crumpled

Excellent performance but missing parts

I ordered two of these for the back of a 1995 Geo Tracker 2WD. One of the boxes was obviously opened before shipping. Inside it should be a tank, inside which there were bushings, washers and a nut. One of the parts bags was opened and one of the washers and one nut was missing. Luckily I was able to reuse the exact same damper parts that I replaced. I contacted the seller about the missing parts and never got a word from them. The shocks are great. Not happy with the missing pieces and the…

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • The list would be long.
