Monroe Sensa-Trac Shock Absorber

Fast shipping and great product. After 248,000 miles on my Mercury Villager minivan, I replaced both rear shock absorbers with Monroe Sensa-Trac 37098. It feels like driving a brand new truck again. I give it 4 stars because it's only been installed for a month. So far no problems have been identified.

Affordable quality, quick install

I installed a couple of these on my 1995 Nissan Quest GXE. The whole process took me 90 minutes. These are pretty powerful dampers that have greatly improved both the ride and handling of my Quest. No special tools are required, but using an impact wrench will speed up the installation, which consists of removing the rear wheels, removing two nuts, removing the old shock absorber, inserting the new one, and replacing the washer and nut. Bought for my 96' Nissan Quest

The original factory suspension on my minivan had to be replaced after 450,000 miles (yes, no kidding). I bought them and installed them myself, immediately noticed the difference. They are much thicker than the original and the build quality is good. They're not the stiffest, but offer excellent cornering and cushioning.
