Monroe OESpectrum 37217 Shock 🔧 Absorber: Superior Quality Shocks & Struts Review

Perfect replacement, I had to use tape to help with my installation but if you have a jack it should be easier for you. The shock absorber has been working great since I installed it. No problems and great replacement.

Very easy to install and of course top quality Monroe. As a hint, make sure the bushings are installed correctly as there is a small circle on one side and a large circle on the other. Be careful not to drag this into a repair book or the internet to find the torque specifications for your application.

Great for my 2001 Ford Escape! It was my first time installing shock absorbers since I was a kid, so it was really exciting! I took my Escape to a hobby shop at a naval base and had a lot of fun with jacks and impact drills. The My Escape has a smoother ride, so the Monroe Truck shocks really do the job!

When you can buy quality parts that come with direct instructions it's hard to justify taking your car to the shop. These shock absorbers arrived quickly and were easy to fit. I bought two of these shocks to replace the stock shocks on my 2001 Ford Escape. Installation was easy after figuring out how to jack up the car without lifting the tires (lifting the center box frame piece). I installed these shocks on my 2007 Ford Escape Hybrid that had the original 130,000 mile shocks. These new Monroe shocks make a noticeable difference in handling. Less lean, rolls and wobbles in all conditions. The handling is really like new and I feel much safer behind the wheel, especially at high speeds.
