Monroe is the best!

uncle asked him to order shock absorbers. I wanted to recommend KYB but unfortunately my uncle had a bad experience with KYB. He only trusts the Monroe brand. He says it's a well known brand (big company) that makes very good quality with a good guarantee. The dampers he had b4 were I think KYb, not sure which one and looking at it the Monroe looks a little better quality.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!

Perfect fit for 2006 Santa Fe GLS 2.7L Rear

Purchased for 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS 2.7L FWD, rear position. Installed November 2013 to replace removed OEM shocks after approximately 125,000 miles. Installation is quite easy and takes about an hour. As you would expect, the difference in suspension feel was immediately noticeable. At the time of writing (October 2018) we are approaching 5 years without crash failures. I am delighted with the quality of the shock absorbers, very happy with this purchase decision and would recommend thisโ€ฆ

Good shock absorbers at a good price

As I was replacing shock absorbers on a 10 year old car I didn't want to spend a lot of money but still wanted a good shock absorber. Those Monroe shocks were good enough for me. It's fairly easy to replace the shock absorbers on my car (2004 Santa Fe), except for a bottom mounting bushing on the old factory shock that was completely rusted out. I had to heat the socket with a flashlight to unscrew it. Unless you have rust issues, replacing is a breeze (at least on this car). Although theโ€ฆ
