Perfect replacement rear shock absorbers on my 2002 Yukon XL with Nivomat Premium Ride option code ZW7 (Check out the glove box lid inside.)

It must be replaced!

Bought the set last year. Immediately after the warranty expired, I was told that they were already leaking fluid and needed to be replaced. For the price paid I expected a much better quality

THIS WORKS GREAT, TRY TO USE A 50

IT WORKS GREAT, TRY TO USE A 50.00 SHOCK, THE VEHICLE WAS ALMOST OUT OF CONTROL WHEN DRIVING ON QUIET RESULTS. It costs 250.00 but is worth every penny. THANK YOU FRED PFISTER

Identical to factory AC Delco shocks

Perfect replacement for the worn out factory AC Delco shocks on our 180,000km 2003 Chevy Suburban. I saved a lot of money buying them from Revain instead of our local Pep Boys. However, Pep Boys did a great job fitting them and two new Monroe Reflex front shocks that we bought from our local Pep Boys store.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Aftermarket can be as good as OEM

I've had them installed on my 2001 Yukon XL for a year now. I put them to a good test last week by loading 1600 pounds of Quikcrete in the back of a truck. The guy from the big store mentioned my truck trailing its tail. According to Nivomat technology, the old lady was sitting upright a mile away. The bonus was the price difference between Monroes and OEM.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Good but not great

Load Balanced Shock Replacement

After doing extensive research on replacing rear shocks on my 2001 Suburban, Monroe's 40209 seems like the right choice. They arrived within the allotted time and since this Suburban is bolted down I chose to have a local shop do the installation. The improvement in handling was immediate and the trail is solid. To further test the new load balancing and tow control shocks, I just towed a large boat of about 4,000 pounds for 130 miles without bothering with handling. Don't hesitate like me to…

Pros
  • Good value
Cons
  • Not the best

Cheapest nivomat i found for premium zw7 smooth suspension. I have a stock 05 Suburban LS 1500, no mods. Some people on the forums had concerns about being able to zip them for installation. I bought mine "used" from Amazon at a discount as the packaging was damaged. Arrived fully unpacked. I put the Burb on racks and let the rear suspension hang. Someone at GM must have had home installers in mind, because the tail was hanging just low enough for the shock to fully extend on the car, but the…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Nothing here
