Smooth Ride with Improved Handling

I recently upgraded my automotive suspension and decided to try out the Monroe 5780 OESpectrum Passenger Absorber for my passenger side. As a result of using this product, I found that my ride is much smoother and has definitely improved my handling and stability on the road. The installation process was fairly easy, but I wish the instructions were a bit more detailed. Overall, I’m impressed with the performance of this shock absorber and would recommend it to anyone in need of an upgrade.

Pros
  • Improved handling, smooth ride.
Cons
  • Instructions could be more detailed.

Monroe is not the same anymore.

Actually separate. My wife said it sounded like her suitcase had fallen off. I looked at the new dampers and one was completely separated on the shaft. Poor quality and I ended up buying a kit from my local parts store and still spending more money.

Pros
  • Shock absorber
Cons
  • Expensive

Not for 2008 Malibu LS

Not for 2008 Malibu. It's too late to return them now. After a little research I found that it fits the 2004-2007 Chevrolet Malibu. Not 2008. I should be able to return it because you have incorrect information in your search parameters. My machine uses 5778.

Pros
  • Shocks, Struts and Suspension
Cons
  • No Instructions
