Good product! Fits Parts

These shocks have made my ride stiffer, improved my cornering and really revitalized my old boring Buick Roadmaster. Now, thanks to them, I can take even more things with me! I swapped in brand new KYB shocks for them and love them very much. They lifted the body of my care a little, but no more than an inch or so. (My feathers are still in good condition and don't sag)

*** NOT SUITABLE *** 1994 DeVille Base 4.9!

The struts look good but do NOT fit my 1994 Cadillac DeVille although Revain lists it as a good fit. They don't resemble the fit of my front or rear stays/shocks at all. They seem to fit newer Deville models, possibly 1996 and later, as I've seen several YouTube videos showing the style I got from this list.

Pros
  • Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • Minor flaws

Specifications Shock, Strut and Suspension

I bought these for my F150 4x4 over a year ago and have been very happy with the ride. So this year I bought a kit for my 1979 Trans Am. I won't be carrying the extra weight with the car, but the extra coil spring will "improve" the original ride height, and I know that the ride quality will be excellent now that my truck behaves like a passenger car! Without a doubt, this is the best shock absorber kit I have ever fitted to any of my vehicles.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Fairly OK

66 402 Turbo Jet blare

Good dampers compared to others. I look to Monroe when looking for a trailer, usually my first through third choices. I like moo too. I have never failed and still do. Those are good shock absorbers, but they "don't weigh themselves down," they're just gas shock absorbers with a spring booster. A little misleading. But generally a good price, arrived quickly. Suggestion: pierce the shaft below the attachment point, add a nut and you can adjust the spring rate. twink

  • Impressive

Looks great, great fit and feel

My '72 El Camino is completely rebuilt, the position looks much better and the ride is great. I was afraid they would be too stiff but they did their job perfectly and the ride on tarmac and dirt is great. Installation was annoying and tedious, but that was due to the machine, not the bumps. They just don't go through the hole under the spool due to the spring around the shock, so I had to lower the control arm and had trouble getting it into the spring.

Pros
  • Convenient item
Cons
  • No
