This is for the rear

I deducted a star for the confusion. They are for the back of the car although I don't think the description actually states that. I had no trouble installing them on my '87 El Camino. Airstrikes were fired. This was a huge improvement. Much better. I don't have to worry about filling them with air either.

Great Product: Replacement Parts

My '87 Cutlass started to sag in the rear, especially when I filled it with gas. I installed these load balancing shocks and now the car sits a little higher in the rear with less than 1/2 tank of gas, after filling up the car is level. If your car starts to sag, I think this will help you. If your car drags on the ground, you'll save money on new springs.

Shown = FRONT actually REAR - works great

I found the wrong picture after ordering. The picture here shows what looks like front struts but are actually rear shock absorbers as you will find out from the description once you have selected your vehicle. front (also with wrong photo) The accident went well, installed new 81 El Camino springs and went with overloading front and rear. Great ride both front and rear, it's expected to be very stiff but I'm very surprised that it offers a good ride with added rebound when the rear is loaded.
