Low quality! - Shock absorbers, struts and suspension

Not durable. I used them for about 9 months before they broke in the hub eye. Poor quality and no guarantee. It's not worth it at all.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Excellent quality and handling

Perfect fit for my 1999 Chevy Tahoe 4DR Z71. No problems. Installation took less than 30 minutes. The ride is solid and helped a lot with handling when towing our RV.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • unreliable

Difficult to install in the country but worth it!

Used on our Out-of-Town 98 k1500. Installing a driveway is a two person job that requires creativity. There's not a lot of room to work, but with patience it's doable. They raised the rear of the Sub about an inch, providing a smoother ride and better handling for the old truck.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Negative impression

Just great! Installation was a bit difficult without it.

Just great! It was a little tricky to install without a lift as these shocks required a two bushing system to compress them properly. Now that I have them, I will never go back to stock shocks. I have them on a 4WD 98 Suburban and they don't make my ride any harder. However, when I attach a trailer, there is NO slack! turned out even better than I expected.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Safety

96 GMC Suburban 2500 6.5L Drags a little

I fitted these shocks to an 04 Town & Country to make rear lifting and roof rack handling easier and I am very satisfied with their performance. I thought they would be just as good with the Suburban. I no longer have any jerking when towing my RV and it makes towing a lot more comfortable. With a car this big, buying these shock absorbers costs money. I really wish they had made them for my Passat

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Some trouble

Good shocks, struts and suspension so far

I like these shocks for the way they ride and help with towing. If you want to install them yourself, please be patient. There wasn't much room in the left rear of my Suburban for these shocks. Due to the increased diameter at the top of the shock to accommodate the spring, installing the top mounting bolts can be tedious but doable. I use my Suburban to tow trailers, as a heavy duty station wagon, and for a lot of traveling. With a range of 2-3 thousand kilometers, they worked well.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not the best

Wow! What a huge improvement over my 1998 Yukon

I couldn't get enough of these beats. My Yukon squats even less when towing my 21-foot Sea Ray. The general ride quality is also much better than the Black Label Bilstein shocks that came with it. I recommend them to everyone whether you tow them or not. I replaced the front shocks with regular (unloaded) HD and regret not loading the front shocks. Installing it on my driveway took about 2 hours with no rear pneumatic tools and it was my first time installing shock absorbers on a vehicle.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No power
