I regret not having bought them sooner.

I put a pair on my 2007 Dodge Dakota and it raised the rear an inch. Looks great! I drive them for a week and my only regret is that I wish I had bought them sooner.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • I will add later

Did you think these are adjustable?

So far good, much better than ORillys $85 shocks. but apart from the fact that as said they are not adjustable or at least don't know how to set them up, they are 👌. Now the installation was a bit of a chore and I have to use a jack and pry bar to slide it in. Also 👌👏

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Good but not great

Improved payload and towing performance

Bought to keep my 2005 Dodge Dakota 4.7L 4x4 from sagging as much when loading it with payload or towing my 22 foot boat. I immediately feel the difference after the installation is complete. The bed doesn't compress that much under load, which is exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Out of style

quality product! on shocks, struts and suspension

Great! Replaced old Dakota 05 shocks with KMG shocks. The truck drove well but could not withstand the strain. Replaced them with these. Drives BETTER and can handle 1,000 lb bags of cement without bottoming. I'm excited. To update! 10 sacks of cement mixture were transported at once! The rest of the time I carried no burden. After 6 months both shock absorbers were gone! There will be an OEM replacement.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other options

It's a shock. It works.

The damper has a slight play problem. The spring is very close to one of my car's wires. There should be enough clearance that it's not a problem, but if that becomes a problem I'll have to move the cable. Not too big of a problem. The ride quality has changed a bit. It feels like it absorbs more hits. My tires are unique in that I unbalanced them with a sudden stop. So at highway speeds it shakes a bit until I change tires. This absorbs some of the shake coming from the rear wheels.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Protection

Fits easily Raised 05 Dakota

I have not attempted to wear anything since installing these new shocks. On a positive note, if you're looking for a shock from raising Dakota, then this is your shock. My Dakota climbs 1.5 blocks in the back and with that shock I had to jack up the truck to install them due to the length. If you have 3 inch blocks. I bet they'll probably fit (don't quote me). They look amazing, I hope they work as well as people say and I hope they last. I had ranches on my truck and they are OUT for towing so

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Negative is present

Ride improved 100%

We are transporting a 23ft camper and 2 different sailboats (21ft and 24ft) on our Dodge Dakota. Both our camper and 24ft sailboat require our Dakota to have upgraded rear suspension and those Monroe shocks work exactly as advertised! Driveability is improved by 100% even when nothing is being towed. The great thing about these dampers is that I don't have to make any adjustments such as: B. increase the air pressure, as you should with air shocks, and then suffer an overly harsh ride before…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Hard to tell
