Excellent shock absorbers

Fitted on a 2009 F150. Raised body 1 1/2 inches. We tow 30 feet. Travel trailer with 800 lb nose weight. Now it sits flat when loaded and we don't notice any difference in handling when empty. - I added black tape to the plastic case to keep it from slipping and rattling over time as one reviewer suggested. And if you install them yourself, use a jack and a 4x4 to raise the truck frame just enough to ease the installation. It took about 45 minutes using only hand tools.

  • Robust finish

worth the money if you're hauling stuff

I installed them on a 2010 f150 mainly because my shock broke and I'm towing a medium sized trailer that weighs about 450 pounds. They raised the rear bumper/hitch about 2 inches. The ride is a little rough, but I didn't expect anything from a truck. If you want your truck to drive like a Cadillac, I don't recommend wearing them. If you're hauling small to medium loads, they should support your standard ride height when loaded. I installed them myself in my driveway in about an hour. The…

Out of this world for towing

Okay first off I got them yesterday and within 30 minutes. You were on my truck. I have a 2010 F150 Lasso and am towing a 36 foot camper with a drawbar weight of 1095 pounds. I have an HD Max tow package on my truck. I had to connect and see what they would do. ok i had less than 1/2 inch drop after hooking up the trailer. amazing shocks. If you want to do a little installation research, you'll see people saying they need to attach the shock. Well the only thing I did was grab my jack and a…

Solved my problem perfectly. Bon voyage

So I got a 2 inch alignment kit for my f150 and when I went to install it I was a big hit. When I tried to remove the strut support, the bolt broke, it was really rusty. I made it simple but expensive, took a combination of struts and installed them with a flat gasket. It looked great, but with the new front suspension, the rear end is about 1.25 inches lower. Now I'm a bit annoyed and have struck Revain. They skim and read the comments, mostly annoyed that they've lifted their truck an inch or

Works better than expected

I installed these on my 2011 F-150 SCrew 4x4. Installation was very easy and straightforward. Installation only took 10 minutes but my truck was on a two post lift. I've only had them for a few weeks so can't comment on how they're holding up, but I'm impressed with how they perform. With no load, the ride was very similar to the series, but with a load it feels more manageable. It rides stiffer when loaded, but not stiff, but it doesn't float like it used to when it's 800 pounds in the rear…
