I installed them on a 2010 f150 mainly because my shock broke and I'm towing a medium sized trailer that weighs about 450 pounds. They raised the rear bumper/hitch about 2 inches. The ride is a little rough, but I didn't expect anything from a truck. If you want your truck to drive like a Cadillac, I don't recommend wearing them. If you're hauling small to medium loads, they should support your standard ride height when loaded. I installed them myself in my driveway in about an hour. The hardest part is compressing them for installation. As a side note, the spring is removable if you want to install it like regular shocks without the help of a load.
