The shock absorber rod has worn out the metal plate due to the old worn out bushing. Substituting both sides, the move got a little tougher. Exactly what I needed.

This item does not include the parts required to replace the kickstand on the 4Runner. Just spend the money and get a set of pillows. This kit only works on one side and does NOT include any pads or washers needed to get the job done properly.

worked great on my 2001 toyota 4runner 4wd. I bought a Bilstein 5100 and new coils for installation and wanted to put everything together before removing the stock parts. These cylinders worked great and had a built in lower sleeve. All I needed was a top hub and washer which you can get from Toyota or I used Wheelersoffroad's Prothane hubs.
