Everyone says you should order them with shocks but that's not true. The old ones on my Honda van didn't even need them. My van had 200,000 miles and they were still good. Waste of money to buy them for your car. I have a feeling someone else is writing to get them when you order your shocks.

Main plate same quality as original. However, it lacks embossing to indicate which bolt should face forward. The triangular shape is incorrect and without comparing it to the original it would be trial and error to fit it into the vehicle. In addition, the threaded ends of the screws are flat and not tapered like the original. This complicates the installation a bit. Not a bad shelf support, but worth getting if the old ones have seen better days. I risked the car and didn't replace the strut mounts and had problems with worn tires and it squeaked and made grinding noises that drove me crazy. This time I didn't make that mistake and bought new mounts. They are not as good as OEM but better than bearings with worn insulation and questionable bearings.
