Works great. on mounting kits

Working properly. A fitment issue, but that's because Honda placed it in an odd place. When bolting to the rack, be aware that there is a front/side that needs to fit properly. Compatible with KYB racks.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Doubtful

It appears to be a quality item being returned because it .

Looks like a quality part that was returned because it didn't match what I needed for the Touring Odyssey. The main reason for the purchase was the bearings, which are smaller in this kit than the ones I had OEM. In the end I decided I could repackage and reuse the original bearings.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Worn out after 20,000 miles

This product's bearing (black ring in picture) is easier to install than the wide factory bearing. I found this better because the wider baseplate was difficult to assemble with hand tools like a spring compressor. However, it is worn and rattles terribly. It's time to order the original design. I think Honda knows what they are doing.

Pros
  • Inexpensive
Cons
  • Not reliable

Good replacement OEM

After 120,000 miles and 13 years my Odyssey 06 started making a dull noise. I thought this might solve the problem. The Monroe rackmount kit fits well. The metal isn't as thick as the original and probably won't be as rust-free as the original after a few years. Took the parts to the workshop, it took 5 minutes to change the top support for such a dangerous job, the frame was fine, the top support too, got replaced anyway. After raising the car I also replaced the stabilizer bar end links which
