Monster ICarPlay Cassette Adapter CAS ADPT Review

I bought this because reviews suggested FM stations didn't work in all areas. Very happy with its performance. The sound quality is very good. Be sure to set your iPod to 3/4 volume to avoid distortion.

Works well, but only at low volume. I tried it on my car's cassette player and was initially disappointed when I heard the sound quality. But later, when I lowered the volume on my phone, it worked fine. I would not recommend it for large quantities. This item can't work as well as CD player and real cassette tape. In cassette adapters, this element can be considered the best choice.

I've been using it for about 4-5 months. It was easy to use as you only had to connect it to a tape recorder. It worked great and my iPod sounded great through my car stereo. I have used an FM transmitter before and I would say it sounds much better. But every time I put the tape in it just jumps from side 1 to 2 and then spits it out again with an error. I'm sure there is a way to fix this, but I don't want to delve into it.

The sound quality pales in comparison to other cassette adapters. The only reason I had to buy a second one is because I accidentally broke the original one I bought years ago. If you have a cassette player in your car but no digital jack, use this product.

Before buying I bought an FM transmitter to connect my iPod to - avoid! Then I got iCarPlay, which made things a lot better. Now I can play anything on my iPod with reasonable fidelity. The problem with my setup that needed to be solved was that the device only works acceptably for one tape direction; When the tape playback is played backwards, the iPod plays a very faint creaking sound.
