First there is no sound on the left side and it keeps crashing. I had to adjust the cable to the other end so I could turn the cassette upside down. Now it works. It should work on both sides, but it doesn't.

Connector not like the photophone connector straight thin connector that breaks easily very disappointed with the quality and features. Monsters used to be the best, but they should be ashamed to sell what is so poorly made!

With my cellphone volume set to MAX, this cassette is still not loud or clear enough. It produces a buzzing sound when the volume of the car speakers and mobile phone is turned to MAX. I mistakenly thought it was the original brand of Monster which I bought 3 years ago but the one I ordered has changed the sound quality and it sucks for me. I plan to still use this cassette as otherwise I can't listen to music in the car. giggle

. I had the exact same one but when I got this instead of my original it was awful. It kept coming out randomly, only sounding on the right hand side, and then when I did my magic to finally play fair with all speakers it just pops up and then the settings restart. So I just got back to my old broken one, don't waste $20. You can buy $5 at Walmart, it sounds better but breaks every month, I still prefer this one.

I expected this adapter to be of high quality considering it is made by Monster, the company that makes Beats by dre. Obviously I was wrong. Severe distortion is almost inevitable, static is ubiquitous, and problems with breakage, overheating, pinched cables, and mismatches abound. I have tried this adapter in the following vehicles with the same or similar results: Ford Explorer, Mercedes E320, Volkswagen Passat, Nissan Sentra, Ford F-150, Buick Regal, Dodge Magnum and Honda Civic, all 2000's…
