Broke on first use

Well it worked. until it broke on first use. Reduced speed from 3.1 to 1.8 mph. The rear hole then ruptured about 4 inches. Not good.

Generally satisfied - rowing and sailing

As described, excellent product. Four initial ratings because some stitching came loose but the product remained functional and adequate. Great for my 17ft grizzly on light/moderately windy days.

Pros
  • Sport
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Not worth a damn. Best in Boating and Sailing

SportCraft 250 Fisherman I have been a charter captain (retired) for over 15 years and have used many of these types of sea anchors to help stabilize the boat and keep trolling speed consistent. . I bought 1 of these to replace an old canvas I've had for years. It took about an hour on the first ride. The stern loop tore off, the parachute went under the boat. Don't waste money.

Pros
  • Water Sports and Sailing
Cons
  • Unfashionable
