repeated failures are good for bearings and seals

design problem? I'm a few days away from a year and need another set to put in front of a 2013 Malibu LTZ. Less than 20,000 miles. I've changed the rear bearings twice.

Pros
  • nice touch
Cons
  • speed

So far so good/bad Updated after 6 months

So far so good, the picture description was a bit misleading. I thought the entire wheel bearing was metal/silver, I didn't realize it was black and metal/silver. I'm not sure if the black part is painted or plastic.

Pros
  • Very good quality
Cons
  • Almost OK

Fits wheel perfectly

I've had this wheel bearing for a few months now and so far so good. Moog is a good brand in general. Many American companies like Moog now source their products from overseas. The product seems good but not American like it used to be.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Good but not great

Great part, spare bear.

Great part, painful to replace. Be sure to use LOTS of anti-seize paste when installing the part. You will also need to either push the old one out or cut it out with an acetylene torch as the aluminum of the knuckle will melt with the steel of the part. .

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Doubtful

Front Noise - Hub Assembly

My daughter's 2014 Equinox has had front noise since she bought it in 2019. I let it drive until it got louder to narrow down the source. I used this wheel bearing and the noise is gone. Did two three hour trips and around the city. So far, so good. If the noise comes back I will update

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Vulgarity

No one will stand behind that fake three-year warranty.

They looked good and were installed correctly but after 2 years and 9 months one of them dried out and started droning. Unfortunately no warranty claims were made so it was replaced with another brand that is much cheaper and looks just as good. I emailed Mug about the faulty bearing and all I got was a "thank you" email saying someone would get back to you. That was in February and now it's June and still nothing from them and Revain won't do anything because the parts return period has…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Replacement available
