Excellent Addition to Suspension System

Installed these springs on my vehicle and the difference in handling, stability, and overall performance is noticeable. Based on our own experience, these constant rate springs have improved the ride quality and added an extra level of control while driving. The pros include improved handling and stability while the only con is that the installation may require professional help for some people. Overall, highly recommended for those looking to upgrade their suspension system.

Pros
  • Improved handling and stability.
Cons
  • Installation may require professional help.

I had the front springs replaced with Moog 5610.

Replaced front springs with a Moog 5610 on my old 1988 Saber with 307 A/C engine, slightly stiffer than stock and almost an inch taller.

Pros
  • All coil springs are 100% load tested.
Cons
  • Some trouble

Perfect to replace the big G-Body block!

My 1980 Grand Prix had 231 V6s from the factory. I removed that motor and replaced it with a big block Vortec 454 with stock iron heads. My 36 year old front springs didn't like it at all and the front end sagged A LOT after the change - at least three inches we're talking, maybe more. After some research, I found that these #5610 Moog springs have the same stiffness (420 lb/in) as Monte Carlo SS OEM front springs, but due to their higher uncompressed height compared to SS springs (15.16 inches

Pros
  • Worn or slack coil springs can cause premature tire wear due to vehicle roll.
Cons
  • There are disadvantages
