Good Stuff for 1st Gen

A good spring to line the front of your Cummins 1st Gen in combination with Moog spring isolators. This is my way from now on!

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Almost never

A tired animal woke up.

Raised the front end of my Dodge Cummins 89 2wd just enough to take up a sagging, tired seat. Suitable for Moog spring seat bushings.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Good mostly but...

Great upgrade at a reasonable price

Great upgrade at a reasonable price. Drives great for a heavy spring. I raised my D-250 2 1/2" and had the local shop install them. I usually make my own, but the large springs are a little scary to work with.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Not sure

Stacker did not lift

Stacker did not lift at all. Ran my truck very, very badly. After reading the reviews about it and watching the YouTube video I thought it would be great. I was wrong, it was the worst waste of money ever. If you wish a good trip, just put a coil over the old mainsprings.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Moog 7226s fits coil springs

I bought these springs to fit 87 Ram 150 which is not suitable for the application. I did a major block swap and needed stiffer springs. They are for the 89-93 Cummins 350 diesel and were too big for the 150. They wouldn't fit if you didn't have a super spring compressor; I would be afraid, otherwise the ball joints would burst. I heard they are great for diesels!

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Some small things

These things are durable. Put on my 1991 Dodge D350 Cummins

These things are strong. Installed on my 1991 Dodge D350 Cummins. They were pretty difficult to meet. I also added a 2" coil spacer. With new springs and coil spacers it added about 6 inches of travel up front to straighten the truck. My front end sagged a lot. The truck sits right now at 36 inches from floor to fender.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Empty

I've always hated that my front end was lower than the .

I also bought these for my sagging d250 - 1993 diesel. I've always hated that my front was lower than my back. Strong on the brakes. Not sure. And it got so bad that the center link was rubbing against the frame. I have read many articles on how to raise the front end. Specifications because the original springs always sag on a heavy Cummins engine. Some said 7226 was too "hard". Not true! I just put them on. My front end has grown 2 inches and it rides like clockwork. Grips better - (this was…

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Very expensive
