Moog 81280 Coil Spring Set Review

Paired with a Bilstein 4600 she now has a very good stable ride. I highly recommend going to your local tire and suspension store and paying $40 for fitting. The springs are very stiff and my spring compressor didn't do the job.

They must have been a little rusty when they were powder coated because I was able to peel off the lining on one side of each spring with my fingernails. I took the cover off and repainted it, no big deal. Much stiffer than my previously worn pair.

My tracker has changed everything in the world. The ride is a little stiffer, but that's to be expected. They will take root and even out over time. Register my car at least an inch and a half from what it was at 170,000 miles.

'12 SV KC 4X. The original springs have 8 coils, these have 10, which I didn't know when I bought it. Moog claims they are consistent in speed and now that I have them installed the front end is stiffer. Due to the reduced coil space, my spring compressors got stuck in the springs after assembling the strut assembly, so it took some creative thought to get them.
