Moog 81632 Coil Spring Set Review

If your minivan is more than 5 years old then you need shock absorbers and springs! It's AMAZING that the ground clearance is back to what I remember as long as it doesn't squeak.

Raised the rear of my 2009 Town and Country by 2 inches. Fits perfectly. I can't comment on durability, but they seem to be solidly built.

Easy to install on my 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan. Jack up your back, preferably both sides at the same time. remove wheels. Loosen and remove the top screw holding the post on each side. This lowers the entire rear axle and allows you to manually remove the old springs and put in new ones. Overall, it took me less than an hour for both sides.

I installed them as part of a tow upgrade that included a 1000 air lift, new shocks and brakes. My van was in an accident before I bought it and then they replaced the springs because the old springs still had the tags on. They had 1 more coil length than what I replaced. We tow my wife's 300 pound scooter on a trailer and are very happy with the end results. I know the air jacks made it work better, but those springs should help as well.

I have a 2010 VW Routan (similar to Chrysler/Dodge Vans). I had a sagging rear end and when I put the tools in the back it sagged badly. When I added my kids, he was almost out of control. These springs raised the van just above the factory ride height in the rear with my tools, and it sits perfectly with the family inside. If you are not carrying anything, the bed of your VW/Chrysler/Dodge van may be raised a little higher than you would like. GREAT for those loading up their vans!
