It worked well. The hardest part was getting the original King.

I used this kingpin on a 1971 Ford 4500 industrial tractor. It worked well. The hardest part was getting the original kingpin out of the axle. Remember that the bushings will need to be repositioned after installation to fit the kingpin. I had mine restored at the auto shop.

Description says easy to install

I bought this for my 1964 Ford 4140 industrial tractor, I was able to find it in the Moog catalog by pin size/length. (Download it. It contains all the necessary data.) In any case, this kit fits perfectly and has been installed for 9 months now. The description says it's easy to install. Getting the old ones out was very difficult, but installing them was pretty easy. Remember that you will need to manually roll out the bushings to size after installation. Fits perfectly on my Ford 4500 tractor.

Excellent American product! This kingpin kit worked great on my Ford 4500 tractor. And it was half the price of what it sells for being renamed a Ford industrial tractor kit. Ford genuinely used parts from other Ford models and divisions rather than designing and building products that had only one application. So they used what used to be on their earlier Ford pickups on their farm tractors. Ford had a better idea. Too bad they sold their tractor division to New Holland, which promptly closed…
