Rear clearance restoration on my Trans Am

When I originally built my car I had polypropylene bushings and lowering springs. They got old after a while so I decided to restore the elevation and ride quality. Those Moog springs were a good deal and brought the car back to OEM height. My exhaust no longer scratches the road. I installed them into used wishbones along with some professional AC Delco shocks, a Moog Panhard linkage and OEM rubber bushings.

Powder coated springs.

Moog springs were powder coated not vinyl. Vinyl doesn't last long, peels off and looks ugly after a few years. The new ones brought the car back to its original height. The old man was 24 years old. Years. Fixed some wheel jumps, particularly on tight corners with bumps. Only issue I've had with them and I'm picky, but wish they were boxed somehow as they had scratches on the bare metal which I had to touch up to prevent rust from being visible. Ride somewhat stiffer, but that's to be expected

The car now has about 68,000 miles on the odometer. It took me a couple of hours to jack up the car, remove the…

Big improvement on my 3rd gen Camaro!

I love these coil springs! I installed them on my 91 foot Camaro RS to solve my rear quarter problem that was preventing my large tires from touching the rear of the car. The originals got weak and I had to hire assistants, but the ride was a spasm. The problem was solved with a Moog CC635 variable rate coil spring kit. The height is about 2 inches higher than the stock springs, which was perfect. I have used them with a Monroe OESpectrum car shock absorber 5867 which turned out to be a perfect
