Only lasted 2 years: Parts

Lasted 2 years on my truck before they were completely dead. Disappointed as Moog generally has a good reputation. The good news is that they guaranteed it. Although I still had to work hard twice.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Clarity

Better than the best OEM parts

Great Item! Has a locking ring and cotter pin which my original ball joint didn't have for added security. Be sure to use the correct tools and add the correct lubricant after installation and at every oil change.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Poorly Thought Out

The part specs were wrong

Both upper ball joints are bad About a couple thousand the ball joints just fell into the hole They had a cheaper one that put a micron on it. It was the same thing I took out, bought, installed, edited.

Pros
  • That's great
Cons
  • Fits

Works great in parts

Bought two to replace the upper ball joints on my Yukon 2500. The installation is standard but pay attention to how they line up in the A-arm. The installation took me about 3 hours on both sides. Helpful Tip: Use a press with a ball joint, it will make your life a lot easier. I've always had good luck with Moog suspension parts and will continue to buy them.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Expensive

Hoping for better quality from a brand like Moog.

I bought it to install on my Sierra 2500 4x4 2005. I was able to drive them in with a small hammer and try to tighten them with a press. When the suspension was overloaded, the ball joint immediately jumped out. I sent these and the rest of the Moog interface components back because I didn't think any of them were safe to use.

Pros
  • Doping 🔥
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Smooth fit for my 2500HD 4x4 DMax

Fits perfectly on my 2001 Chevy Sliverado 2500HD Duramax 4x4. rented a ball joint tool from pep boys and was able to remove and install the old one. a few quick tips. hole at the top to the outside. Installation was easier than I thought, I just had to remove the tire and tie rod to get the job done. Replaced driver's side top.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Everything great
