Description of MOOG Chassis Products K80537 Pitman

Problem Solver patented cover plate design allows for tighter tolerances vs traditional cover plate designs, providing a more durable and extended life part. Exclusive cover plate protects against contaminants leaking into the bearing surface. Full ball metal stud provides 36 degrees of smooth, consistent, rotational movement. Greaseable socket design allows new lubricant to flush contaminants from the assembly, reducing corrosion and wear. Loose or worn chassis parts can lead to premature tire wear.

High-Quality Pitman Arm Upgrade

As an automotive enthusiast, I am always looking for the best upgrade for my suspension system. Recently, I came across a fantastic product under the Struts & Suspension category that exceeded my expectations. This product provided a significant boost to performance and durability, improving my overall automotive experience.

Pros
  • The MOOG Chassis Products Pitman Arm is a high-quality upgrade that provides exceptional durability and performance. It keeps my vehicle's steering accurate and smooth, even when driving off-road or on bumpy terrain.
Cons
  • The only downside I could find is that it can be a bit costly, but the benefits outweigh the cost in the long run.

Does what it should.

Moog make good parts and this is one of them. Replaced all steering parts at Moog and now my steering and centering is in perfect condition.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Protection

Didn't work in Pitman Arms

Fitted as per instructions and FSM but when aligning the marks the tires turned left and the steering wheel turned right but only one line matched, the other was misaligned . Tried many times to straighten the handlebars and handlebars where the crossbars are 180 degrees but couldn't. Even wheel alignment won't fix this mess. Went against my common sense to get this Moog part ($36) vs OEM Toyota ($144) with a Pittman lever. Late and missed the return window so I think it's going in the trash.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Largely ok but...
