One good one bad in parts

Bought a pair of these for my car but only one fits. The other was smaller and could fall through a hole in the lower wishbone.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Correct ball joint parts

Ordered for my Corvette, fits perfectly, arrived as described. Significantly improved handling and smoothness of the car! Only installed 4 weeks but they feel better.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Exchange possible

Fits my 1985 Corvette

Looks like a quality part. The oil housing ensures a secure seal. If you have a factory press in the ball joint, get a lubricator with a lubricator as these also need to be pressed in.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Functionality

Four Stars: Shocks, Struts and Suspension

This one was clean! I installed the hinge and was about to screw in the oiler, but there is no thread in the ball joint for the fit. Instead of removing and reinstalling the connection, I just threaded it myself. I shouldn't have done that.

Revane and Moog rock!

After receiving a cheap, low quality part in a relabeled box from a normally reliable major online parts supplier (and paying $8 for return shipping), Revain had an original Moog the next day -Part on my porch. ! Moog ball joints are made from hardened steel with numbers stamped on each piece. You could learn a lot from Revain, RA!

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Boring Packaging

Goes well with my '84 Z51 Vette

Goes almost perfectly with my '84 Corvette. The only complaint was probably that my ball joints were original from 1984 and the Moog ball joint is somewhat oversized. Lots of lube, some heat, and a very strong percussion gun on a rented ball joint tool, and it slid right through, barely scratching the aluminum control arm. Also note that Moog states that the grease fittings are designed to cut themselves into the ball joint for a better seal, it was easy to install with tools, just take it and…
