Description of Enhanced Performance MOOG K6534HD Idler Arm

Heavy-duty design. Loose or worn chassis parts can lead to premature tire wear. Engineered steel composition results in a stronger component. Powdered metal gusher bearing design enables grease to flow through bearing to. Grease able socket reduces corrosion and wear by allowing new lubricant to flush contaminants.

Installation hardware provided did not work

Tensioner did not come with castellated nut and shank selector as shown and the shank has an unusual thread pitch. The nut included in the kit did not fit, as did the nuts from the old parts. Now I've torn off the entire front and am desperately looking for the right mother.

Pros
  • Reinforced design
Cons
  • Upgrades

Buy this if you like your GMT800 1500

Great product. Stronger and more powerful than factory. This is the "HD" version and is more powerful than the "normal" Moog version. If you want to impress the girls by messing around with your classic GM truck, BUY IT. DON'T FORGET Moog Trailing Arm Bracket #K6723. I'm a college student at a university and now I don't worry about breaking details when showing girls in mud, snow and medians. Much better than the factory and, as they say, much more powerful. Also buy Amsoil Dominator racing…

Pros
  • Mild steel composition makes component more durable
Cons
  • Long delivery time

No more deadly wobble

I've had good experiences with Moog steering and suspension parts. Always the same good or better quality than OEM. I replaced all moving parts in my 2005 Silverado's front suspension and steering (except for the torsion bars) with Moog parts and I couldn't be happier. Ordered everything and installed it myself. I got rid of the damn death wobble that 3 mechanics couldn't fix and Chevy told me didn't exist. I wish I could tell which part helped, but I was so sick of paying different mechanics…

Pros
  • Loose or worn undercarriage parts can cause premature tire wear
Cons
  • It's OK
