Unreliable Ball Joint for Automotive Suspension

This ball joint may have good performance at first, but it ultimately fails quickly resulting in dangerous drives. Its poor quality construction cannot handle the stresses of normal driving.

Pros
  • Good initial performance
Cons
  • Poor quality construction

Best Value Moog Products

Amazing build quality at an affordable price. Much better design than my original ball joints. If you are replacing them with a Dodge make sure you have at least some good drill bits and a cold chisel as you will need to drill out the existing ball joints when they are riveted in place. I will buy more but I doubt I will need it.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Upgradeable

They were easy to install

They were easy to install. The lower ball joints did not pass state acceptance. The hardest part was getting the old ones off. The ones I took off were riveted. It took me 5 hours to replace the upper, lower ball joints and rear stabilizer link on my driveway. I'll find out how good ball joints are and how to install them at my next state exam.

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • High price
