Proper fit is good for chassis

The R&R of this product is a bit difficult if you don't have a workshop but with care and thought it can certainly come in be carried out in your home garage. Change both sides at the same time. Slide the front axle forward toward the R&R hubs, then roll back and tighten.

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Perfect Upgrade Best in Radius Arm and Parts

This was perfect for the radius arms on my 78 F150. Installation wasn't easy, but that's not the product's fault, it's an attempt to remove 43-year-old screws. They are more durable than OE tires but can make the ride a little rougher.

Pros
  • Always Loved
Cons
  • Something Different

Good quality substitutes.

These are "Thermoplastic" bushings. I don't know the exact hardness of Delrin, but they are a bit stiffer than regular polyurethane products. For my purpose on an old Ford truck, which is often used mainly on bumpy dirt roads, they are perfect. Came with the correct hardware (reusing existing nuts). They do not come with lube.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • not reliable

If you have an old Ford truck, you've probably had to replace these bushings at some point. If that old Ford truck has power steering, you've probably changed those bushings a few times, or at least the driver's side bushing more than once. This is a game changer! This job is such a PITA on my old F374 and now I never have to do it again. Now if only I could get a steering box that doesn't leak. Incidentally, Moog was too cheap to add a couple of new cotter pins to complete this install, so…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Protection
