Faulty control arm ball joint

This is the second time I have ordered a Moog control arm. It took almost a year for the ball joint to burst the first time. The second time it took a little over a year and the ball joint burst again. I am very disappointed in this brand.

Pros
  • Shocks, struts and suspension
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Terrible Ball Joints and Rubber

A little over a year later the ball joint began to fail and the rubber boot on the ball joint was torn. The ball joint moves easily and the rubber in the bushings is already starting to crack. I replaced the ball joints with greased ones and they work great. The levers themselves are good quality, but everything attached to them is terrible. If you're looking for a long-term replacement, don't use them.

Pros
  • Control Levers and Parts
Cons
  • Weak

Fits perfectly. Made in Taiwan.

They are perfect for 2008 Nissan Titan LE CC LB. It's not nice that the ball joints don't meet Moog's Made-in-the-USA standards. Spend $200+ per set. Nevertheless, a cheap alternative and you also get new sockets. It can take time and effort to rebuild my bushings when they fail. One of these I bought had a badly loose ball joint and sent it back. The replacement is slightly better. I'd happily pay $15-20 more for US made ball joints with Zerks.

Pros
  • Replacement Parts
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging
