The assembly error is the best in spare parts

I took off the old lever and put a new one, it turns out that the bushing is not pressed to the end and does not fit. I almost returned it thinking it was the wrong part until I noticed the bushing wasn't straight and wasn't fully seated. I had to take it in place to finish pressing the sleeve. What a problem! I also ordered a wishbone for the other side and it was ok. I think I was just unlucky, maybe!?!?

Pros
  • nice little thing
Cons
  • low maintainability

Bearing damage for shock absorbers, struts and suspension

RK80670 installed on a 2007 Chevy 4x4. Two stars because the box the part came in (not the shipping container) was damaged, the ball stud guard was destroyed, the stud went through the box, and the threads on the nut were damaged so they wouldn't thread onto the stud could I could use the original nut. I assume when you drop something that heavy you know something must be damaged. The front of the truck was aligned without any problems.

Good standing, matches control levers and parts

Good solid control lever. Will update if it doesn't take long. The installation took about 3 hours, I couldn't unscrew a screw for the strut spring, so I had to unscrew it. Tools needed: 18 and 21 ratchet wrenches and a 15 socket if you need to remove the rack. This is my third one I've replaced for other people and they all went through the chute so my alignment kit should move the spring enough to not go through. A grinding machine may also be necessary, since screws often get stuck there.

Pros
  • Works great for me

  • Negative impression

Good product. Buy a set of camber bolts just in case.

This part was a perfect fit. Fits perfectly. The installation went really well until the camber screw burst. I sprayed Pb Blaster on all the nuts and bolts. It broke as soon as I put some pressure on it. Buy a set of camber bolts in case yours break too. I ended up cutting out the bolt and then wiggling it back and forth until it came out. All in all it was a simple setup. Be sure to spray the screws with Pb Blaster and let it sit for a while.

Pros
  • Good product for the price

  • Null

07' Silverado 1500 2WD is perfect

07' Silverado 1500 2WD is perfect. I didn't realize how bad my OEMs were until I took them out and compared them to these replacement parts. Good assembly, strong ball joint, usable ball joint (mirror oiler), excellent rubber boots with articulated joints. They were extremely easy to install once you have a basic knowledge of a truck suspension system. You will need a 21mm socket, wrench and a MANDATORY pry bar or ball joint disconnect tool. Press on the ball joint and tap the knuckle with a…
