Great product for car backup cameras

Installed on a 2014 Jeep Patriot and it was very easy. Just don't be afraid to pull out a few records. First I watched the video on YouTube, and then it only took an hour. There can be no price. The picture is very clear.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Works well but poor angle

Fits my 2010 Jeep Patriot and took me about an hour to connect all the wires. The only problem is that the camera itself is tilted too far down, mainly showing the ground and not what's behind the car.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Didn't work properly right out of the box.

Easy enough to install and the lens fits the 2013 Jeep Compass perfectly. Popped it into a new Alpine head unit and the picture scrolls up and down like an old tube TV. It was $13. You get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Crumpled

Not suitable for cars and car electronics

After a few months I finally found the time to install this. Everything is connected correctly, the camera does not turn on. The main unit displays a black window. I've tried connecting 12V directly to the camera with ground, but it still won't turn on. I would like the seller to contact me to discuss and find a solution. I will update my review as soon as I get an answer.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Nothing here

Information correcta y juste perfecto en luz de patche

El ángulo queda un poco desplazado, induciendo an error, sin embargo la imagen es nítida y funciona bien. desconectarse, luego hay que dar un par de golpecitos en el portón y vuelve funcionar.

Pros
  • It's all right!
Cons
  • Pricey

Mount too sloping downwards

I can't say much about the camera because I used a different one. The mount itself is tilted too low to the ground, meaning you can only see about 10 feet behind you and almost nothing to the sides. You need to make modifications to the mount to see further behind the car. Also, no sealant is included with the bracket, so water will seep into the license plate light.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Piggy bank price

Also fits 2010 Jeep Patriot! And works great with Kenwood DNX9960!

Love it! The description says 2011 and up but it fits my 2010 Jeep Patriot perfectly! The cost was so low I figured why not let's give it a try. I connected power and ground to the left wire of the reversing light and connected power from the same to the head unit return wire and it automatically turns on the camera and displays the camera on the head unit when reversing and switches back to what was on the screen if not backwards. Installation involved removing the inner plastic…

Great quality works great! 2007 Jeep Compass

Bought one of these for our 2007 Jeep Compass. I have a Jensen vx7020 head unit that I installed myself and needed a backup camera. I bought this camera and it works great. The hardest part is the wiring. Removing the tailgate trim panels was easy with a set of levers. After the panels are removed, remove the two nuts holding the jeep light and latch handle. I had to drill a hole in the jeep's plastic headlight and route the wires as a sealed block, but it took two seconds. the device connected

  • 100% MONEY BACK GUARANTEE
Cons
  • Some small things

Dig and it's worth it.

Camera works great! Used on Jeep Compass Sport 2012. A disadvantage of this is that the camera mounts 6" to 8" off center. Just be aware that things will shift quite slightly. It's a fairly wide viewing angle and the horizon appears near the top of the screen where it should be. If you decide to add a camera to your compass, the first thing to know is that it's not a quick job. This took much longer than I expected. First you need to take the top gate panel and I used a metal panel puller to…

It will work on a 2012 Jeep Patriot with an aftermarket stereo

I installed this on my 2012 Jeep Patriot along with a JVC touch screen radio which supports a backup camera. The instructions that came with it are almost useless. I had to remove the inner back panel. Tailgate (2 screws in the lower passenger corner of the tailgate, the rest is held with clips). Then remove the jeep button/license plate light; It is held on by 2 nuts and 2 plastic clips. Remove the original license plate light cover on the passenger side and replace it with a camera. I had to…
