Excellent air intake. This is suitable for GM trucks with clutch driven fan. I put on my 5.3l. I'll get a Specture or K&N filter to replace this one. Much cheaper to go with this setup than buying a high end brand. The filter that came with it looks pretty good but it touches the fender so I hope it doesn't cause any problems, hopefully buying a new filter will solve this problem. good thing it works and cheap. The attachment of the bracket from below could be better and looks very weak. And the connection of the rubber grommet that goes to the MAF sensor was too big. You can only tighten the rubber so much. I was afraid that the mass air flow meter would wobble out of the rubber bush. I had to fix this by wrapping a 1 1/2" strip of rubber around the sensor 2-3 times to make it fit much better. Strong adhesive was applied to the rear rubber strip to hold it in place…
