This PCV valve bushing fits my 1995 Dodge Dakota perfectly. My truck is so old that all the rubber parts turn into plastic and brake as soon as they are touched. Auto Zone doesn't even carry that part. I bought four of these just in case for other Dakotas. This item was used for the passenger side valve cover hole where the PCV valve is located.

We visited 3 different spare parts dealers before ordering from here. All three had a breather sleeve under the PCV sleeve. Went like clockwork. Make sure the valve cover is off before attempting to remove the old PCV valve. He might break. I used a flashlight to help remove it. I have the old one to give enough to pull it out after cutting 1/4 of it with a utility knife.

This bushing is perfect for the valve cover on Dodge Ram GAS engines --- 5.2 and 5.9, holds the PCV valve tight, sometimes difficult to pull out the old one when it's been there for years. If you're using a long flathead screwdriver, slip it under the edge of the old grommet and smack it towards the firewall or the back of the car, it will eventually pop out and the new one just fits in.

I found a vacuum leak in the system and some oil buildup around the valve cover gaskets so I decided to overhaul most of the system and ordered a non-original PCV valve gasket. . There is an error in the matrix because I have a large breather cap bushing on the other side of the motor even though I clearly ordered the correct part.
