🔧 Mopar Radiator 6814 3886AA Review

I spent extra money on a Mopar part thinking it would fit as it is the correct original brand. But it didn't fit properly and it took a long time to install because of it. Some of the pre-drilled holes don't line up.

Bought for my 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport. Fits perfectly. Excellent quality Mopar spare parts. Installation was not difficult, but there were difficulties. A newbie could do that. Give yourself 4-5 hours. And don't forget to watch some YouTube videos during the installation. 8 and 10mm gear wrenches are required.

Good price for the original heatsink, I've tried to find a higher quality heatsink with no luck unfortunately I feel I ended up using this one one that I filmed was only 20,000 km away. You need patient and some small metric open end wrenches, don't attempt this without removing the intake pipe and cooling fan, you don't need to remove the A/C condenser, just hang it up with zip ties or whatever, be careful.

Perfect fit, except for an extra small protrusion on one side, had to cut a small hole in the plastic throttle to release the valve let it sit exactly, 30 seconds with a paring knife. This was on a 2009 Wrangler. Later Wrangler models may require an extra small tab. A tip: When installing, first screw the condenser to the radiator and then slide it onto the jeep together.

Perfect OEM replacement, this is a genuine Mopar part, not a cheap fake, no installation problem. I took my time and spent about 2 hours from start to finish, the hardest part was getting the old one out. Remove fan, A/C condenser, overflow tank, upper/lower hoses, plastic pan, plastic side panels. I recommend a scraper and spare plastic connectors, some of these will eventually break, especially if they are more than a few years old. There were some plastic pads on the side of the radiator…

Like the customer before me, this fits right in with the JK Wrangler. I recommend buying the plastic decorative button that is on Revain's "related products" list. it helped a lot. The real fun begins when you need to remove the four 8mm screws that attach the AC capacitor to the heatsink. Very time consuming and tedious if you don't have a dedicated 8mm oscillator and are left with a short open end wrench. Ask me how I know lol.
