Nice part that solved my problem.

Purchased for 04 Jeep Wrangler TJ. Getting the old one out was harder than it was putting the new one in. Fixed my fan that was only running at high speed. The cabin fan now runs at all speeds. I am very happy with the purchase.

Fixed my A/C in 30 minutes

If your jeep only blows at max and 3rd max (my jeep only blew at max) then get this part. Watch a simple YouTube video on replacing a resistor and give yourself 30 minutes to replace it. I have cold air conditioning on all 4 levels again - just in time for summer. Some connectors are difficult to remove, but doable. Saves big $$

Installed on Jeep TJ 2004. Five stars for.

Installed on a 2004 Jeep TJ. Five stars for performance and fast shipping, but one star for ease of installation. I replaced a similar part on my F150 truck in minutes but knew from the comments it was going to be more difficult. I watched a lot of videos and read a lot of helpful comments, but even with my small hands and the right tools it took me almost two hours. Seriously? Ah, it works. This is important.

  • Great for me
Cons
  • Some imperfections

FIX for Jeep Wrangler

If you have a Jeep Wrangler and are having heater speed issues, the most likely problem is the blower motor resistance which is located just behind the glove box. It takes about 1.5 hours to swap it out, but it's worth saving the $300-$400 the dealer will charge you. You can find demo videos on YouTube showing how the job is done. I ordered a genuine MOPAR part from Revain which saved me about 60 percent compared to the cost at the dealer. Labor savings of approximately $200.

Pros
  • Heater Fan Control Issues Everything is OK!
Cons
  • Available in white only

A cheap and easy solution to an annoying common problem!

Does your Jeep TJ refuse to blow air on the two lowest fan settings? That's [probably] the reason! Your old man has let you down! Replace him with this bad boy and you'll be back in the running for the 4 champions of fan customization. Seriously, it's pretty darn easy to replace and almost cheap enough to buy without too much pre-purchase troubleshooting. If you're hesitant to do it yourself, visit YouTube and you'll find some helpful videos on how to replace this. It takes 30 minutes and the…

Easy installation. - Air Conditioning

My heated/air conditioned Jeep was an all or nothing choice. Dial markers 1-3 made hair flow, 4 was the maximum. This resistance restored proper function. Easy installation. Open the glove box and remove it. Remove the two screws holding the resistor. Remove the wiring harness. Install a new resistor and reinstall the glove box. took about 10 minutes including pouring a cup of coffee. NOTE. I would recommend one of those "flexible" socket extensions for easier access to the bottom screw. I…

Recommend. in parts

Did what it was supposed to do - the air conditioning in my 2002 Jeep Liberty only worked at high power and is now working great. I watched the installation on YouTube, but my own was a lot more complicated than what I saw. As others have noted, the wiring harness is difficult to remove (no doubt it's stuck since it's been attached for years) and on the Jeep Liberty the bottom bolt is really hard to access. With some persistence and A LOT of swearing, I got my way and probably saved myself $100

Pros
  • Engine Cooling and Air Conditioning
Cons
  • Minor issues

Hooray! Finally there are all 4 heater/fan settings!

My husband and I installed it today and it works great! I have a 2002 Jeep Wrangler and the 2 lowest AC and heater fan settings have not worked since I bought it. I searched the internet and found that replacing this fan motor would solve the problem. I ordered it from Revain and then looked up how to replace it on YouTube. First, take out the glove box, unscrew and remove the dashboard backlight. Disconnect the wires with the green connector and step aside. Locate the two screws holding the…
