Good value for money.

Minus one star because it's a 230V lathe (it's not). Minus a starting point for a broken tool rest (it comes pre-installed in a lathe and the packaging was probably damaged, although easily repaired). Remember that you need to adjust the drive belt and motor tension. Once you set it up, you can have fun making tons of sculpted pieces of wood. Really cool tool for a beginner.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Expensive

At first glance a great little tool!

I bought a lathe as a gift for my husband, he loves it! It is smooth and quiet and does its job perfectly. Now he conjures up Christmas presents for the whole family! Edit: I've wanted to update this review for months, so let's get started. The lathe didn't come with the pusher, tried to contact the seller, they stopped responding after I told them it was missing. The large (7 inch) handpiece broke while twisting the tip! FEATHER! The carriage bolt is too short to allow adjustment (tightening)…

First block is broken, second works fine

The first WL330 lathe I got had a broken tailstock that didn't have lugs that went into the gap in the bed around the tailstock to secure was aligned with the headstock and centerline. Even if you tried leveling it by hand, the tailstock was still almost 1/8" below the headstock (center to center), making it very difficult to turn anything. The second lathe I received , has a tailstock that fits snugly in the bed and is also at the same height above the bed as the headstock so it can work…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember
