The perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

Chic knife for the forest, with excellent geometry and steel. Minimal impregnation of the handle with linseed oil is required. The handle is larger than that of the MORAKNIV Original 1 similar in materials, but with a shorter blade length, as a result, it sits better in the hand. Lack of leather scabbards. Its pros: Great knife for woodcarving and bushcraft. The geometry is excellent for the specified jobs. Very angry central layer of laminated steel. Convenient size and shape of the handle…

Far exceeded my expectations. Very good traditional/simple woodcarver

Excellent woodcarving knife. They are definitely a few steps ahead of their main blades and appear to be handcrafted. I didn't expect the knife to smell full to the hilt. Much easier to handle if ever needed and makes the blade stronger. My favorite choice of wood for making tools and it seems to be coated in linseed oil which is a huge plus for me! The blade is perfect and thicker than expected, another plus. Has a Scandinavian finish ++ and Swedish made laminated carbon steel +++++++…

Just like your standard Classic.

Same if not more features than the standard Classic. I started lugging this thing around. The bowl stays on my neck very well, even when I'm sleeping. I found the relatively flat blade with a small belly great for fire preparation and a fairly functional awl too. I found that I wanted to exercise a lot more than other users. I am truly amazed that this knife is good for more than just a specialty carving knife where it excels. But I find it's a much more useful and enjoyable alternative to your

Worth the money - manufacturing

I've read complaints about a knife with rust on it and this could be it. Mine looked like it had some rust on it as well, but it looks like the knife has cosmoline or something coated on the blade and I could rub it off with my thumbnail. Whatever it was, it looked like rust coming off with the coating, so I'm guessing it's just dust or dirt. I've also heard complaints about tip breakage. I haven't had this problem either, but no matter how hard the core steel is, I can see that this can happen

Very disappointed

When I received the "Moru" the blade was corroded and the handle was rough and unfinished. The blade was clearly dented and appeared to have been coated with some kind of varnish. The knife was also marked as Frost Edition, which is definitely not the case. Maybe it's poor quality control or someone who only sells cheap fakes? I highly doubt it's the first. I have owned and used many genuine Morakniv knives over the years and I can honestly say I have bought Mora knives at flea markets and…

Value carving knife

Mora is known for making quality knives at very affordable prices. These aren't collectibles or even heirlooms, but if you want a knife that does what a knife is supposed to do and does it well, then consider Mora. This special carving knife is a good tool. It was very abrupt; so sharp I even cut myself the first time I used it. I barely caught the tip of my weak index finger in the cutting motion, and that was all it took. Cutting with this knife is a pleasure. It stays sharp for a long time…

Great knife for carving. Manufactured with quality.

Excellent wood carving knife. For the price I don't see what could be better. I just finished a project that took several hours and it worked great. The blade stayed very sharp the whole way, and there was no need to buckle up. The blade was very sharp, there was a small wire edge on the edge in a few places, but that doesn't bother me on a $20 knife. I repaired the knife and restored it to the condition it was supposed to be a razor. The grind of the blade is ideal for woodworking, since there
