Make it a little smaller

They work great. I just wish they were a third smaller. Waste only bothers me. You can't put anything big in it anyway. Just my thoughts and that doesn't mean the bag has any issues.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Frequency

Grateful for the plastic-free option

Glad to have found this reasonably priced product from Revain. It's important to try to use less plastic! Yes, they are less durable. But you won't feel guilty if you empty the bin more often, knowing you're not adding another plastic bag to the garbage stream.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Perfect for use

We use this bag in our compost bin and when it's full it goes straight onto the compost heap. Bags eventually disappear in a heap. It serves its purpose well. We still have to be careful when we take the bag out of the bin to go outside because of drips, but it protects the liner from dirt and debris.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house
Cons
  • Almost ok

Homemade compostable bags that work great! Some don't tear well

We've bought them several times and they decompose perfectly in our compost heap. We have to take the bag out every night to make sure it doesn't leak, but that's the price you pay for something that can actually be composted. I will say that our last roll is incredibly difficult to rip. Though I'll probably buy it anyway.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Some little things

Definitely biodegradable

We use them in the dustbin on the worktop. He sees everything from vegetables to coffee grounds. If we're having a slow week and don't get the sack to our compost bin, the sacks will start to break up a bit. It's not a big deal since we can just take out the whole bucket, but it's something to be aware of. They fit well and hold up well under normal household conditions.

Pros
  • Also understandable for old people
Cons
  • Can harm

breaks easily good for household goods

I'm moderately satisfied with these bags; They serve their purpose and fit in my small compost bin. However, I have found that eggshells tend to crack packaging. And for some reason I've also noticed that my compost bin itself gets wet when I change bags (not moisture proof enough?). I won't be buying them again because of the tear problem, but I have to deal with 90 more of these.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something

TOO thin to be effective

Very thin - not very effective. I constantly find myself packing the compost into two bags before throwing it in the bin. A few times the sides cracked or my thumb went through the bag, especially when the compost was a little wet or very full. The city comes once a week to compost. If the bag is torn, then there is no point in using the bag! That would be enough if I was throwing compost in the garden, but then why use a bag? I just tossed it in the compost when I had it in my garden.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Expensive

Bags spoil too quickly

I am completely disappointed in this compostable bag and all others I have found for a kitchen countertop. You are too skinny. We collect compost around town every week. And my family only fills 1-2 bags a week. I am now doubling up on the bags for my desktop compost bin but after a few days they start to leak and fall apart as well. I don't want those leaky bags going into my city compost bin because then I have to put away two smelly cans: one inner and one outer. Compostable dog shop bags…

Pros
  • Garbage, Compost & Lawn Bags
Cons
  • Very Expensive

In my opinion they have deteriorated

I bought these bags for the first time in July 2018 and I really liked them so when they ran out in March 2020 I clicked the button "Buy again" clicked. What arrived was a completely different product than 2 years ago. They are much thicker and the perforated area that holds the bags together is much harder to tear than before. It's hard to tell up from down and it's hard to open up once I've established where up is, so much so that I often doubt my decision that it's up. The previous thinner…

Pros
  • Paper and plastic
Cons
  • No machine

Quality control problem?

The first order was perfect for us. However, the second and third order are not so good. The bags are still durable, but you end up losing them trying to rip off a new bag. When you split the pouch to open it tears and it is difficult to tear along the perforated segments without tearing it. I know it's a bit annoying but it's impossible not to waste bags because of this bug and with a product bought to reduce the environmental impact I'm disappointed. As I said, the first order about a year…

Pros
  • Health & Household
Cons
  • boring packaging
