Didn't work on 2017 lexus gx460.

big o tires couldn't make it work on my 2017 lexus gx460, big o said i might have to take the car to a lexus dealer? Actually, I thought that was already pre-programmed. Update: Lexus dealership charges $194.24 for reprogramming, it is not compatible with your computer. Yes, it's cheaper to get them from your dealer after all. Installation is free, never again.

Partial DOA - Empty promises of a refund

Received more sensors on a 2005 Mercedes SL55 AMG. I installed them at BJ's and they worked for two days and then they all died. I contacted MoreSensor and was given a second kit which I installed with Discount Tire - works great. MoreSensor promised me a refund for installing it on the first set. Sent both installation bills to MoreSensors to see if they would refund the more expensive installation but they called and left a message saying they would refund the smaller of the two…

Out of service - accessories and parts

These are tire pressure monitors and nobody can read them. Shouldn't be a problem, but it is. These counters can read data from most sensors, but not them. They won't work. I bought 5 about a year ago and they never worked and I expect they never will. Can not be read. Spent some money on sensors and installed them. Called Mobiletron even though they don't know about it. I have to work on getting a refund and paying again and again. Very bad business model from Mobiletron and they will never…

No problem installing on Toyota Tacoma

Other reviews always make you wonder if you can get a lemon and then take the expense and time to get one (or more) of them to replace them if they don't work. In my case, the COSTCO tire assembly shop had no problem replacing my Tacoma truck's factory tires with these Hummers. I was suspicious of them because of the negative reviews, and when COSTCO replaced my summer tires with winter tires last fall, I got control air. pressure reading I came to the conclusion that the TPMS system must have…

Went like clockwork!

When I found out that a Toyota dealership was charging over $75 to replace a sensor on my 2011 Camry (plus installation costs), I took the plunge and bought this aftermarket sensor. A nearby discount tire store had it replaced for $14. It took DT engineers two attempts to program it correctly. The first time they didn't use their programmer to reset the TPMS, they told me the warning light would go out after 20 minutes of driving. That advice was wrong. I tried using the TPMS reset button on…

What is required for these sensors to work?

I am writing this to maybe help others with their choice of these sensors. The car I was working on was a 2010 Lexus ES350. If you plan on installing them yourself, you'll need a tool that can read each sensor's transmitter ID and convert it to hexadecimal number format. You will need a scanner that will allow you to register each sensor on your computer. I have an Autel MS906BT scanner and an Autel TS401 TPMS scanner. Contrary to their documentation, these sensors do not have a hexadecimal…
